Program Description: This presentation provides a brief overview of some of the frauds that have taken place in domestic and foreign wineries. Some frauds may involve counterfeiting wine, which is completely outside of the control of the winery. More commonly, frauds are committed by winery employees, suppliers, customers, winery management, and outsource providers. The fraud triangle is still at the heart of the frauds…and the aftermaths are (unfortunately) fairly typical.

Agenda:

4:00 p.m. Check-in
4:15 – 5:15 Presentation by Cecily Raiborn (1 hour CPE) - Fraud in the Wine Industry
5:15 – 6:30 Networking with appetizers and cash bar
