Shari Daffern, President

Shari is the Director of Internal Audit for the Texas Water Development Board. She has over twenty-five years experience in auditing with various state agencies and universities. Shari is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Shari received a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Business Administration from West Texas State University (West Texas A&M). She has served as on the Board of the Austin Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners for several years. Shari is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
